Colourful city wedding at Never Forever in Kentish Town
Tilly and Amelia’s wedding was such a joy to capture and be part of. From the dresses down to the cake(s!), I was completely obsessed with the styling of this day. A gorgeous relaxed city wedding full of colour and fun.
The morning started at Tilly and Amelia’s beautiful London flat, where they got ready together with their closest people around them. Their home was so beautiful, full of personal touches, including the cutest Taylor Swift prints on the walls. I love capturing morning preparations ‘at home’, it gives such a perfect insight into who the couple are and made the getting ready part of the day feel really personal and special.
We then jumped in a taxi to Marylebone Town Hall early so we could capture some relaxed portraits before the ceremony. We took a walk through the backstreets of Marylebone, taking advantage of the pretty streets and mews near the town hall. T + A mentioned that they weren’t too keen on posed photos, so I did what I always do and let them just chat away whilst capturing their ‘in-between moments’; laughing, talking and just being themselves together.
Next was the ceremony, full of emotion and some incredible comedy moments from their little niece! A confetti moment on the iconic steps followed and a few relaxed family photos, I also managed to sneak a few portraits of T + A in the famous alcove of Marylebone Town Hall, before hopping onto the bus to Kentish Town for the reception at Never Forever.
Inside, the wedding setup was full of pinks and reds, with gorgeous table decor and two amazing pink and red cakes. The styling worked so well against the rustic backdrop of Never Forever. Speeches and a cake cut followed, then straight into a proper party to finish the day.
