Brighton has been one of my favourite cities for a long time now, so naturally I jumped at the chance to photograph Rosie and Koroush's winter wedding at the Fabrica Gallery. Danielle, of Danielle Smith Photography kindly asked me to second shoot for the day.
Rosie started her day getting ready at the very elegant Artist Residence hotel. The rooms are styled beautifully with amazing colours that boded well for the getting ready shots, the widows with a view of the seafront added some natural light too which is always a bonus! There was so much laughter and fun that morning among Rosie and her bridesmaids, it was really special being there to capture it.
After that we headed off to the ceremony which took place at Brighton Town Hall in the centre of town, followed by a walk along the seafront for some fun couple shots - it was quite blustery that day, but of course Rosie and Koroush still managed to look effortlessly cool, despite fighting with the elements.
The reception venue was a beautiful converted church which Rosie and Koroush had made look even more stunning, with the help of their friends, family and suppliers. The fairylights made the vast space feel warm, cosy and christmassy, plus the Jeremy Corbyn cut out in the pulpit was a personal (political) touch! He ended up on the dancefloor at the front of a conga line.
There was a pub quiz, some amazing food and some pretty epic dancing to say the least. It was a privilege to capture a such a lovely and fun day.
